    Default Fashion Site

I'm not sure if any of you are into fashion, since most of you seem to be broke, living in your parent's basements, and with way to much free time (e.g. you are not working all that much) . . . however, I guess you could just look at the pictures.

Of all the threads you could start...I did not expect it to be one about fashion. You certainly know how to keep an audience on the edge of their seats

I took a look..and yes, the aesthetics of that site are wonderful and inspirational, for sure.

    ...Still weirded out though.

There is a ton of plaid and orange clothing in my mother's basement. I rummage through it for hours when I'm not working.

Pretty neat site! Reminds me that I like the color orange a lot more than my wardrobe would have me admit.

I looked yesterday. Are there supposed to be clothes to buy on there? I didn't see any.

No, it's a site that began with 3 fashion photographers who would just take pics of stylish people in their cities and collect them in a photo-journal. Obviously, technology is such that the site is a lot better these days with multiple contributors.

Fyi: It goes back for numerous pages which covers several years.

As to why I like fashion: I am going with nurture on this one. For instance, my mom (RIP) would lay my clothes out for me on a chair that was in my room from a very early age (my age, not hers). So, all clothes would be ironed and draped over the chair with the shirt over the back rest, pants starting at the seat and with legs ending on the floor, shoes, with the proper pair of socks, placed partially in the shoes, and a belt coiled up and sitting near its proper, and eventual, location. I will not admit when I took over the duties of picking out my own stuff, but I will say in my defense that it was like having my own stylist which I would have to pay, and would, good money to employ to do much the same type of work these days.
English ENFJs . . . they are a strange breed (RIP).

From the topic, I kind of expected this to be an announcement about how TypoC is now a Fashion Site.

I was alarmed, as we didn't want to make the decision public for another week or so.

I know someone who'll be interested in this thread and could add to it.

She's obsessed with fancy clothes, she is in the fashion designing industry (I believe) and she probably stalks people who are well dressed.

    She is @OrangeAppled
