I think your observations are accurate, but she's also shown over the last several months something that I had not noticed before: she's shown a very on-point directness, with matter-of-fact, accurate, poignant insights into a variety of matters.

I have a similar thing to say about Night.
I had never been blown away by him, but did always think him cool and intelligent.
That changed, tho, with his contributions to some thread, I think about what you hate about each type, or caricatures of type, or something.
Anyway, whatever exactly it is, his contributions to that thread revealed a brilliance I had not previously noticed.
He is clearly a very keen, sharp observer of things, and his insights are rather brilliant.
