    Well, it's the smell of bacteria you are noticing. Most dogs have that particular bacteria in their paws.

    I'll look up the bacteria common to "dog paw colonizing" if you are interested.

    Not that I needed another reason to avoid eating cheetos... but thanks.

    My dog's head always smells like peanuts. His paws smell like basil, dirt, and dryer sheets. Hmm... need to figure this out, methinks.

    After trying unsuccessfully to Google my way to what gives Cheetos their flavor, I've come to @PeaceBaby's conclusion that it's either something particular to the bacterial growth on her paws. Yeast might be a culprit...or something.
