    I call it the "If-I-May-Say-So-Myself" syndrome. If people tell you how "great" they are at something, there's a good chance they suck at it. The vision they have of themselves is distorted. Ever hear the kids on American Idol claim they can sing like Whitney Houston? When given the chance to sing, they sound like they just took a hit of helium into their lungs. Rather than getting Whitney Houston, we get Minnie Mouse.

    In short, I like that she treats everyone equally, regardless of type. There's a bit of prejudice around here (I won't call people out) when it comes to certain types... because of her lack of prejudice and her deep knowledge, I think that her typings are the one of the most objective around here.

    I can't say for MBTI because I'm not really involved in it.

    Thank you, Vetani, this is very flattering! Those are a lot of the qualities I really try for.

    I wouldn't consider myself one of the best typists on the board, especially because I feel like it's more of a help to assist someone else in "drawing out" their type out of themselves, as opposed to identifying it for them. I think it's really in each person all along and the best thing we can do is to help someone clarify for themselves the way they choose to see themselves. I believe that type is best fit, after all, not objective. But if I really embody the equality that you suggest, then I consider that a success.

    I thrice presented her a typist crown,
    Which she did thrice refuse: Was this ambition?
    Yet Brutus says she was ambitious;
    And, sure, he is an honourable man.

    Anyone that doesn't type.

    I don't think many of you have read any of Psychological Types - a roughly 600 page book that defines and explains most of the questions people have about cognitive functions, introversion/extroversion, intuition/sensing, thinking/feeling, rationality(judging)/irrationality(perceiving), and the philosophical ideas it relates to. Instead most of you follow MBTI that reifies Jung, relying on a trait model of personality or you all create your own definitions and other such things that don't have the philosophical rigor that Jung's theory does (and defines things differently), pretending that's not only better than Jung, but still Jung's cognitive functions. Well it's not and it sucks.
