I bought a very expensive watch and felt conflicted because it had the stickers. But I couldn't resist..had to peel them off. I am doing alright but still feel the conflict. Ack! Do you think this has something to do with perfectionism?

I bought a pretty expensive computer for my bike (milage, GPS, etc) and I kept the plastic on for a long time because I knew it would eventually get scratched, and I wanted to delay that.

i always peel. always. my boyfriend still had the plastic on his phone and it was driving me nuts and he wouldn't let me peel it off until like 3 months later when it started peeling off on its own.

    Peel. Peeeeel.

Unless I happen to forget that they're on the device, which is not uncommon. In this case, the sticker stays.

part of our "yay! we got new electronics!" celebration in this household involves the effort to be the first to pull the plastic off and stick it to the other person's face... it is an important electronics buying ritual to insure our happiness with it

those who do not peel off the plastic obviously don't value happiness

The plastic gets messed up/partially pulled off/torn pretty fast when you leave it on, unless it's really small. I like to take it off. However, there have been times when I didn't notice tiny sections of plastic and left it on for up to years!

I once kept the plastic covering on my computer chair for a few weeks to avoid any damage to it. Am I stupid?
