I keep most of it. Eventually I say: "Look at all this shit. " Then I start rapid-fire deletion.

I keep anything that I still have to deal with or anything of sentimental value or that I think I will need a record of. The rest I blow away. I kind of regret getting rid of all the emails from one of my relationships, as I think they would be interesting to look back on now. I also regret losing a bunch of emails from an old account due to not logging into that account often enough as they represented a slice of life at that time.

I keep some. I delete most, eventually, when I no longer need it.

I am shooting for the World Record - How many e-mails CAN Outlook manage before being crushed under all of that digital detritus?

Up to about ... well I did delete a couple thousand last week, up to 30000 atm. Doesn't take too long to accumulate since I get so much junk mail through all of my websites.

5 email accounts straining their storage capacity that I never check. Probably about time to make a 6th.

P.S. Now that I've tempted fate, I am off to back-up my computer.

I keep it all. Searching gmail is one of my main forms of getting info I know was given to me but which I can't remember. Plus, deleting would be an extra step that isn't necessary.

I delete most things, save a few things that I need reference of in the future.
