Depends... there's often a third, even fourth, dimension to many things in the two biggest places ever (your brain and the universe).

    Realize us, Madman!

Any imaginary number, because reality sucks and is boring sometimes.

In non-imaginary terms, I'm somewhat partial to 0 and -1 because they're different. 0 is underrated. It is actually the logical start of a counting sequence. My kindergarten teacher had it all wrong.

I know. I was going to edit in a disclaimer that I only refer to opposites.

Yeah, I have a problem with XIII also. I am superstitious, though, and I don't care who knows. In fact, I want everyone to know. I've actually had projects slowed by people coming to me with questions like "I can't find wire number XIII on the print anywhere! Where does it go?" I always get some kind of 'you're weird' look when I tell them "There is no XIII. It's unlucky. We wouldn't want this system to fail, would we?" I've designed lots of different control systems for various industrial machines and stuff. None of them have a single wire, component, or page in the documentation with that number in them anywhere. I've had to include that fact in recent documentation to prevent nuisance calls and emails with questions on that subject. Yes, 14 is the number right after 12.

Oh yeah, my favorite number is 37.
