Default The 'mood' of your dreams

... Do you ever keep it when you awaken? As in, the mood or atmosphere from a dream remaining for a while after awakening, so it is almost as if you are still in it. I get this a lot, especially if the weather is similar than it was in the dream. It makes for quite a surreal experience. It's enjoyable, as long as the dream was pleasant.

Yes it has happened to me. Usually fades after a few minutes being awake though! Worst is when you wake up annoyed at someone for something they didn't even do.

Yes. I had a dream last night about being trapped in a house with some guy who was trying to kill me with paint thinner and I woke up super paranoid and starting wildly at every little noise and creak in my apartment.

I sometimes have nightmares with my boyfriend starring as the villain. When I wake up, I'm usually pissy at him for his bad behavior in dream world, hahaha, poor guy. And sex dreams leave me horny.

My dreams are too bizarre- I'm thankful that the waking world serves as a protective buffer for my sanity- otherwise I'd be searching the skies for tornadoes & thinking every shuffling homeless person was a zombie, etc.

When I dream I hit the lottery, sometimes it takes my card getting declined after attempting to purchase a rack of candy at the gas station to snap me back to reality.

I have dreams where my impending doom casts a net of tranquility and acceptance over me that persists throughout several days, when particularly engaging. I recall Earth being destroyed by a meteor, and once when I sank on the Titanic.

Then I've got no idea what you're talking about. Ask a Buddhist.

i have dreams about winning the lottery or people giving me money, and i'll think they're real for a minute after i wake up and am very upset when i realize it didn't happen.

this other time i dreamed about my boyfriend inviting his ex to go on a road trip with us and i was probably mad at him the whole next day even though he didn't really do anything.
