Pinky and the Brain was awesome! Betty Boop is pretty cool too, but I haven't seen much of it. I guess Popeye has always been a bit more popular.

Perhaps my favorite cartoon series ever isn't on YouTube, but I did manage to find a brilliant in-depth look at the series. It's long, but I encourage you guys to at least watch the first ten minutes of this video. CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS!

    Avatar: The Last Airbender

You can watch the series in its entirety on Netflix or for free right here.

I love the Last Airbender myself! That was going to be my next post. haha....I am partial to that cartoon because air bending is based on bagauzhang and that's what I practice [bagua, not air bending. I can't ride a ball of air. Wish I could but I can't.]

Popeye and Betty Boop are absolute classics and I had forgotten about them. I'm so glad you guys posted them.
I will have to give Yu Yu Hakusho a try Rasofy, because...well, your avatar is just awesome. I laugh every time I look at it.

Might be a bit violent for your tastes, but who knows. Oh, Pinky and the Brain was one of my favorites too.

"Cartoon Cartoons", and all this Japanese crap, killed cartoons for me. Who the fuck wants to watch a bunch of kids fighting a monster then "making out" then crying then holding hands, to some sad music.

    /Old Man.

I had a classical aristocratic EuroJudeoChristian upbringing. You people did not have a childhood. I am sad to tell you. But I love you anyway and so will show you the light. You bastards.

THIS was my childhood, THIS is a cartoon:

Tom and Jerry, Donald Duck, etc etc etc

the only exception is Johnny Bravo the clown episode

And obviously the "omelette du fromage" cartoon which I don't even need to name because everyone who had a childhood knows what that means.

But they are the only two exceptions.

    @Il Morto Che Parla
Oh, those were indeed great. Cartoon Network used to be the best channel ever. I still remember the acme hour intro.

Still, I tended to prefer fight focused cartoons/animes - Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya, Rurouni Kenshin, The Spectacular Spider-Man.

    Il Morto Che Parla,

I love Looney Tunes, Bugs, Daffy, Elmer Fudd....the whole gang. Give Pinky and the Brain a try, too! The Avengers cartoon isn't bad either.
