    at a baby shower
For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

when your boss is the sexist idiot (especially applicable if the boss is female) and you decide to confront them about it

otherwise, I don't mind splitting the bill, changing my own tire or any of that other nonsense... equality is equality- if you want it you take the pros with the cons

I think most real feminists take pride in even having a chance to pay some of the bills. It's not something they wish to avoid.

seriously, and I know this comment is probably going to get a backlash, but it totally pisses me off when men whine about feminists wanting to take over and relegate men to a second class citizen status... FUCK that, all I want is to be treated as an equal instead of being assumed to be a weak, emotional, baby making machine

I think that's what all feminists want. Not to be seen as dependents, to have jobs, voting rights, clitoris rights (ahem..), etc. The idea of relegating men to a lower status is just fear on some men's parts. No actual feminists say that, unless they're evil Amazons in some cartoon or something.
