    It really depends. Sometimes I can easily. If there is a task I need to work on and I enjoy doing it, I can usually tune things out around me. If it's something I don't really want to do but have to do, I will get very bothered by my environment unless it's as I need/want it to be.

    I often have the ability to be tuned to more than one stimulus at the same time, but when I find the subject to be boring, I just prepare myself for automatic answers, I am pretty good at that too..
