    Today's Investments:
    - a relatively high veterinary bill for a sick kitty
    - expensive new shoes for my daughter that she will probably have outgrown in three months (according to the sales clerk's prediction)
    - A new monthly ticket for public transportation

As you can see, I have really been treating myself!

To be honest, I have recently bought several graphic novels.

    A mango. The experiments continue.

It tastes good but seriously, can anybody tell me how to dissect a mango without making the mess of the century in the kitchen?

If I wasn't a hardcore fan of her, I wouldn't have gotten this. But hello.

    For me:

    colloidal oatmeal is amazing.

Some obnoxious Halloween leggings for $3. Primarily gonna use to layer under jeans for a little added warmth. Don't care what's on 'em. Women's jeans have become really thin in the past decade or so, it seems. Among other issues, like the front pockets are shallow or not even fucking real... List goes on.

    For Cricket:

Uromaxx for Cats and Dogs - 6 fl oz

His urine's still kinda dark. All labs look good, & his behavior/appetite/etc are all normal. Vet went to a holistic conference recently. Suggested this, so I ordered it.

& some more jingle bell balls for him. Sometimes I end up stepping on one in the night/break it (which feels about as awesome as stepping on Micro Machines or LEGOs), so, good to have spares handy.

...I really should just put this kind of ball into a drawer at bedtime, but I feel like a jerk taking it away.
