    Today was a spending day

Nikon Prostaff 5 10x42 ATB Waterproof/Fogproof Binoculars (I broke the pair I had for 20 yrs last summer)
    Jungle Juice 100 Insect Repellant
2 hats with visors, for hiking, since I lost 2 last year (which hardly ever happens, I don't know how I managed to have 1 vanish, and the other fall to the ground somewhere in the alpine, both in the same year)

    cheese

drank the most beer that night with my wife and had some of the bread. Tasty.

A bunch of ridiculous stuff for a party I'm throwing for my 40th birthday this Saturday:

    Light-up bocce ball set
    LED frisbee
    LED solar string lights
    lawn ring toss game
    giant foam frisbee
platform swing (to replace the old crappy swings that were here when we moved in)
swing seat for zipline (also here when we moved in, and in fine condition but is only a handle so it's hard to use unless you have good upper body strength)
microphone and stand (I have a PA system already but didn't have a mic for it)
Tidal membership so I can have Prince and Beyonce on my playlists (technically I didn't purchase this since it's a 30-day free trial)

I've never thrown a party before (except family stuff, and a college graduation party for my sister) and I want it to be fun. SOMEBODY TELL ME HOW TO MAKE PARTIES FUN

    Picked these up ^
Got a coupon inside it for a free packet of the same brand of almond butter.

Should be good on a slice of wheat toast tomorrow morning (actually, the packet could probably last me a few mornings).

I got it all for 10 bucks.

Ok so I wasnt going to spend more money at five below- I wasn't! But. I accidently, the last time I was in there, grabbed the MEDIUM flipflops of the same design because they were on the large rack and I just assumed I guess they were large- oops. So anyways. I have GIANT ASS FEET AND HANDS. For some reason. Really fat pudgy out of proportion hands, and just super long feet- so mediums were just not gunna work. But I wanted those flip flops and they were only 3 dollars so I thought- hell with it, Im going back. And I bought them in a size that my feet arent hanging off the sides ridiculously(I wear a size 10- medium at 7-8, nope) so yeah my mom just happens to wear a size 8 tho so... Id give them to a friend/my best friend- but shes got huge as hell feet too(9) and it might be a bit of a stretch cuz their sizes tend to run low anyways. So yeah. Anyways. Bout the flip flops and then was just going to buy myself one piece of candy(cuz I have no food and yum) but then I got distracted. But its cool. Now I have something to wear over my bathing suit or something. And it was all only 10 dollars.

The bubble wand was just cuz I saw it and I dunno I wanted it and it was only a buck and I was like yo totally, and bought it.
