    Thanks! We just had the inspection (except for well/septic) last weekend, no surprises. We knew the roof was old, but we want to replace it with metal anyway. So, unless there are big problems with the well and/or septic systems, we appear to be good to go.

    Yea roofs are only good for about twenty years. As long as you don't have any foundation issues you should be good to go. Just know that the inspections always find a little something, and not to be concerned unless it involves the bones of the house.

    Wish you well in the process and once again, congratulations! Its a big purchase and I'm happy that its going well!

    Foundation is great. I'm just beside myself with excitement, and fear that something will happen to fuck up the deal. This is my dream property- 3 acres, no close neighbors, a creek running through the backyard, both woods and open space, firepit, and a bathtub that Calgon can take me away in.
