Bought a pie from Carmine's Pie House last night for my date and I.
Also got some pesto bread as an app, a Maudite for me and an Intuition People's pale ale for her.
And a slice of Tres Leches cake for the two of us that was moist as hell.

Birthday present for my girl.
Pink Orchids from Anita's garden shop did just the trick!Your representative owes you, not his industry only, but his judgment; and he betrays, instead of serving you, if he sacrifices it to your opinion.

This is kind of embarrassing, but I just bought $8 butter
Today is my dad's birthday. I was at the store to pick up something else, saw the butter from Parma valley, which is right near where his father was from. So I just figured, if there is a time to buy $8 butter, it is now.
I'm so curious what it will taste like.

I honestly don't remember the last time I bought a non-food item. Maybe motor oil 2 weeks ago, and gas. Aside from expendables...? I'm not sure how i feel about that, but mostly good. I have enough possessions, apparently!
I found a flashlight holster I attached to my backpack. Just put a cheapy LED in it. That was maybe 3 weeks ago.
It's a nice holster.
OH! OH! Silly me I bought some of those cheap drawstring totes from the thrift store maybe a week ago.
I got one in yellow to keep in my trunk to hold my jumper cables, folding shovel, and ice scraper. Keeps things organized, and can work as a flag/signal/utility bag. And another to keep dirty shoes in, and another to keep my (construction use) gasmask clean with spare filters and ear plugs.
I can't recall anything else in the last couple months. That's like, $5.50 with tax.Don't know how much it'll bend til it breaks.

The best part of my day was eating this whole damn thing in the car, sitting in the corner of an empty, quiet liquor store parking lot...
It just happened to be the nearest dark/quiet place.. I needed to decompress or something.. but yeah, I'm kind of a creep.
I didn't have a minute to myself since I opened my damn eyes today/forgot to eat.. so the solitude & sushi were an ideal, much-needed combination this evening. I don't even know what that brown stuff on the bottom right over the sushi was.. it was spicy and awesome though.
I want more. I miss it already.
Oh, & I recently ordered this drinking fountain for Jack to use when we get to CA. Encourages cats to drink more; I want to keep that in check (given his age/gender/drier climate).
Looking for an image to post here, I came upon this [review? demo?] video.. this hippieguy & his stoic fatcat amuse me.
