    Default INTPc? It Works. Apparently.

Am I the only person having trouble with INTPc?

All I get is a white screen saying "It Works!" in the corner.

Can somebody help me out here? I don't get it.

I saw the same thing in two sites today, but the problem is gone now.

I had to kill and redo my bookmarks to get both sites to work on my normal browser.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

yeah, that "It Works!" page was from earlier (when the new server's Apache instance was unconfigured); your browser may be caching its copy of the site from earlier. Hit RELOAD and see if that helps.

    Well, whadya know.

I've been reloading the page all day with no success. I didn't realise it wouldn't work unless someone told me to do it before hand. I somehow can't justify thanking you, but I will applaud your timing.

And now, I can sleep well.

That should work... but earlier, I was experiencing this with MBTIc as well, even though I was hitting refresh.

When I navigated directly to something other than the main page, it started working.

EDIT: If I just go to MBTI Central - Powered by vBulletin, it still says "It Works." But if I go to MBTI Central - Powered by vBulletin, I see the forums.

So, what's broken is the page that redirects you to typologycentral.com/forums from typologycentral.com/... because they left the temporary index.html file in the root directory, but typing typologycentral.com/forums directly brings you to the correct page.

I think that needs to be fixed...

You have to put "http://forums.intpcentral.com/" in the browser, not "intpcentral.com" I tried to provide the proper link earlier.

That's definitely a cache problem on your browser, as the mod_rewrite rule is definitely in place to redirect / to /forums/ --

    Code:
    Options FollowSymlinks
    RewriteEngine on

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/$ [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/forum
    RewriteRule (.*) http://www.typologycentral.com/forums/$1 [L,R=301]
Both the links you provided above take me to the forum main page on my browser (firefox 2.0.0.14 on WinXP)
