Hey niffer: You're not in that time zone, trust me.
    I 100%, N 88%, T 88%, J 75%

Illinois is central time. (Either you mean "ended up on eastern", or there's some odd daylight savings stuff mixed in where your county is on non-daylight savings central while Illinois is on daylight savings central.)

I am central time, by the way (In Illinois).

same time as Denver here. Doesn't supprise me that the higher percentages are on eastern and central. East coast states and Texas make up a very visible majority on the internet to begin with.

They make up a larger section of the general U.S. population also.

I think there is a mistake in the poll options. Because London is not +1 (if UTC means the same as GMT?). London is 0, Berlin is +1.
I live in Amsterdam, so I'm with Berlin/Paris/Brussels, etc.

Aha! So living in London's time zone, do I have to change my vote when we hit winter again?

I suspected that, just haven't studied US statistics much.

This is kind of trivial, but Chicago would have been a better example for CST than Houston. It's more centralized and more popular.
    I don't wanna!

    Oh yep, right you are.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
