It's because it's so consistent. I have yet to meet a girl with a lower back tattoo, particularly one that is visible, that isn't a slut.

I also never had an interest in them. I'm a rebel for my age...

If I never wear make-up or jewelry (was finally persuaded to get my ears pierced 2 years ago, but my ear rings got lost recently and they closed up), it's a safe bet I'm never going to get a tattoo. I prefer the natural look.
    I don't wanna!

Attitude is important; in this case, a self-destructive one. An old classmate of mine apparently justified a tattoo of the Clash's logotype "as a way of saying 'f___ you' to my future self."

Men get them? I don't think I've seen that.

What is your definition of a slut? A girl that's had sex?

I like urbandictionary's top definition: "A permanent reminder of a temporary feeling."

If I enlist, I'll probably get one. My mom will freak, my dad won't mind at all. He already has one.

I might, eventually. Anil Gupta and Lou Jaque both do beautiful work.

For example, This would just take an amazing amount of skill to do.

I must admit, that last link is pretty cool...

But the following are my very basic and not completely correctly-spread renditions of what they will look like after various amounts of time, provided they are not touched up once a year or so... At 30-40 they look like little more than blobs of faded colors...

This is among the many reasons I would never get one...

You're going to be ugly when you're old anyway.

Second, with re-inking and with sunblock, they'll stay in decent shape until the guy's skin itself's ugly.

    Edit: Link.
    Let's do this thing.
