I'm really sick of tatts. Everyone and their little sister is getting them. I could do without anyone ever getting anymore.

Everybody's also getting their ears pierced, but nobody has decided that's played out yet.

I decided to get one because it was meaningful to me.. the number or percentage of other people who have them didn't really come into play at all.

    I have my ears pierced!

p.s. My mom and dad both hate piercings. So apparently I'm following a trend they started.

Nah, I could never find one that was unique or meaningful to me. I know this sounds cliche, but I've always had a penchant for chinese dragons because as opposed to in the west they're seen as symbols of magnanimity or blessing many times rather than solely representing violence, evil, and slaughter.
For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

You know you all long to get this in huge ink letters on your body:

No. If I were to get a tattoo, though, it would probably be my name, username, or MBTI type spelled out in runes. Or maybe some of my personal quotes in runes, such as, "What better way to honor the dead than to fuck a corpse?" That was a timeless quote from myself.

But there is always the possibility probability that I'll regret getting the tattoo in the long run as my interests change.

My conclusion: tattoos are for people without foresight.

That's not very original... or creative.

    I'm unimpressed.

I won't do it in the near future (and likely never willl), but I find dragons pretty cool. I also like mythological monsters, like Cerberus.

Well, those are only ideas as to what kind of tattoos I'll get, granted my main goal is to get something that is meaningful as well artistic.

What suggestions would you offer on a more original/creative tattoo for myself?
