They're the laws that describe the big and the small of the universe, yet they're incompatible with each other. Plus I've got to leave the middle of my body open if they ever find a unified one. I love them

Fair enough. I like that reasoning. Did you not want to use the short form of the equation for his general theory of relativity? It's less....."congested", and would have matched the other side more.

Edit: just occured to me, a possible faux pas - commenting on anyone's tattoo, after they already have it done, in any light that is not wholly positive [i.e., questioning or joking about it], cannot be a good thing. My bad.

I considered that, dropping the c4 denominator by using geometric units, all that crap, but I kind of wanted the long one. Don't really know why. Just liked it more I guess. I like having it "all there."

EDIT @ YOUR EDIT: Haha, I don't care. It's fine.

That works. At the end, it has to sit right with you, above all else.

Edit: *phew* That's why I dig ya, Jock!

I have one so far, right between my shoulder blades

this pic sat on my bulletin board for years, and when I finally turned 21 i went ahead and got it. I've been dying to get another tattoo ever since. my second one is currently in the making..aka, i'm saving money for it. I don't have a sketch drawn up yet, but the idea is something like this, on the small of my back.

the little green guy (the Prince of the Cosmos) is a character from my favourite video game ever, Katamari Damacy. may or may not be pushing the katamari ball (most likely not), but either way he will be looking up to a quote from Carl Sagan that says "the cosmos is all there is, or ever was, or ever will be".

    a most excellent tramp stamp

thank you i actually spent a lot of time on this idea, it took me about 3 months to come up with a general idea and then a design. i wanted to integrate these things into one piece somehow; both mean a lot to me. Really i think that's all that matters when getting a tattoo...it doesn't matter what it is, just that it has some meaning.

stringstheory I LOVE your double clef tattoo, it's really nice! Did you design it yourself or did the artist draw it up for you? Either way it's great

And yes, there are such things as INTPs who overuse emoticons
