I know, that was intentional. You should still make a backup somewhere online, hard drives have a high chance of failure as they get older. Especially a few particular ones, and especially if used intensively.
I've lost one which contained some cool stuff, including some stuff made by me, but I still don't backup my data. The data I have isn't worth it, especially with all the limitations for free accounts - file size limit, etc..
Lol, no, I'm not trying to avoid people, if that's what you mean. I think it's Si anal-ness shining through. I want to have everything stored categorically and neatly while taking up as little space as possible.
That is why I prize many of my possessions that promote categorical organization, such as boxes, bins, labels, and folders.
Just remembered another; I don't think I remembered it earlier because I'm so accustomed to having them on me.
I have three rings - one that I purchased in Italy, one in Turkey, and then one that my grandmother gave me - that are really important to me/I love how they look/they're part of my style/accessories, and I hope to wear them for the rest of my life.
"...On and on and on and on he strode, far out over the sands, singing wildly to the sea, crying to greet the advent of the life that had cried to him." - James Joyce
I have so many things I treasure it is ridiculous.
The biggest one would probably be my dagger collection.
Next is all of the souvenirs I bought on my trip to Europe a year and a half ago. They take up all the space on my nightstand.
I also take good care of all the gifts my old best friend gave me before she drifted away. They're in a box right now, since I don't have room for them, but the box is in a safe place and I value them nonetheless.
I also treasure my CD collection... I am obsessed with a J-Pop artist, Ayumi Hamasaki. She's the only person I buy hard copies of music from... well, the only person I BUY music from at all.
Finally, my Pokemon cards and games. That's my childhood, right there.
