Halloween isn't a myth. It's real. I've seen it with my own eyes!

Debate between Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's, Amy Pond, or going goth. Typically I nail what costume I want to do, but this year not coming up with anything definite.

Does anyone know anything about making costumes? My younger brother wants to be a character from a TV show that you can't buy a costume for (Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender, if anyone's heard of it). However, I have no idea how to do this.

Get some fabric that matches the costume of the character, take measurements of your younger brother's clothing dimensions, draw out a pattern on paper, and then draw out the pattern on the fabric. Use a sewing machine to put the pieces together, and include an area to sew up button/snap/ or zipper closures. Use articles of clothing to help guide you.

If this is too much, then you could find clothes that resemble the character's costume.

    Obtain white tshirt.

    Write "Go Ceilings!" on it.

When asked what your costume is, tell them you're a Ceiling Fan.

OMG OMG I am so excited about my costume.

I tried out how I will do my hair and I think it will work pretty well, planned out the costume and accessories too. I need to find somewhere I can get some cheap body paint/makeup though. Lavender-colored.

I was going to blue myself, but apparently that's insensitive.

Take the weakest thing in you
And then beat the bastards with it
And always hold on when you get love
So you can let go when you give it
