    Default How do you donate?

Are you a monthly or occasional contributor to an organization? Or do you volunteer time? Just do the occasional recycling/cothing donation thing? What organizations are you actively involved in?

Are you a monthly or occasional contributor to an organization? I've occasionally donated money to my local Friends of the Library group.

Or do you volunteer time? I used to.

Just do the occasional recycling/cothing donation thing? Yes

What organizations are you actively involved in? None at this moment. For awhile I was involved in my local enneagram group and in Toastmasters. I'm currently involved in a gaming group but that's not really an official organization.

Volunteer with organizations and charities pretty much every month.

I volunteer with Impact Jax -
ImpactJAX is the young professionals program of the JAX Chamber. We are the premier venue for Jacksonville’s next generation of leaders to connect with each other and the community. Members engage in the Chamber and support activities and ideas to make Jacksonville an increasingly attractive city for young workers and businesses.
I'm on the public policy council, and use my political experience to steer debates within the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce

I'm on the Board of the Jacksonville UF Alumni. We do charity events occasionally.

I also volunteer at the Republican Party of Florida HQ here in Duval County where I worked in 2010.

I donate my old clothes to Value Village, on behalf of the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Occasionally I buy tickets for the fundraising lotteries of STARS (the local non-profit air ambulance service) and the local hospitals. They're typically expensive ($50-$150 per ticket) but the odds of winning something are pretty good (usually somewhere between 1:20 and 1:50); the grand prize is usually a $1,000,000-$1,500,000 showhome in the 'burbs. They're not really donations per se (I can't claim the money as a tax credit) but whether or not I win something most of the money ends up in the coffers of the non-profit organization. (I know about ~75% of STARS revenue comes from donations and the proceeds from the lottery.)

    Hmm, I wasn't expecting that.

On topic: *coughs delicately* I donate monthly by supporting a little girl in Africa who is super adorable and sweet. I occasionally donate my time to volunteer work... but that's not something that comes naturally to me. So I have to be prodded, harnessed, and then corralled by my ENFP friend.

I give money to the homeless people in my neighborhood, mostly to those who are mentally ill.
I recycle through Good Will and Value Village.
I give $500 to Doctors without Borders last year.
