I can be both, but it depends on what is going on! If I am hanging out with friends or doing something constructive, then I can be a night owl. If there is an interesting/fun event going on in the morning, then I will get up early. It doesn't really bother me.

(And obviously, work/steam does not count as interesting or fun!) :steam:

I will say by default, I am DEFINITLEY a night owl.

    I'm just like that.

Mornings are only good if you haven't gone to bed yet or are on holiday in a scenic place with awesome sunrises

Its fairly common for me to be up and functioning well till about 3 in the morning, I get so much more done in the evenings.

I function much better in the morning. Long years of early baking work. But I like to stay up late malfunctioning too.

    I'm such a night owl, it's ridiculous.

I actually managed to pull off being nocturnal for a couple months, back in my way-crazy-days.

There is something peaceful, and exotic about the night, plus, there are less people around, and that's a definite plus.

I'm normally a night owl, I'm also a morning person, I think because when the sun frst comes up is so close to when I am still naturally awake. I generally have lots of energy and it really depends on when I have to rise and wake. In order to compensate for sleepy mornings, I really have to hype myself up.

If left to my own devices, it can get pretty bad and I am very nocturnal and I'll sleep when the sun comes up. When I'm out, I feel very alive between 10pm-3am. I know on vacation, we felt fine eating between 8pm-10pm. I really think a 'European' lifestyle would fit my natural rhythms better.

Otherwise, I'm not an early sleeper/early riser but I will stay within 'normal' hours.

I seem to be a night owl, by preference and biologically. Even when I'm going to bed at a decent time (pre-12) and waking up early (6-8am) over a period of time, I feel bad in the mornings and start to feel really awake at 7pm.
If I get out of rhythm, my natural bed time seems to be 3am, and my wake up time 10am.

I don't really mind waking up early, midday seems the worst for me.
