I'm decidedly nocturnal and feel bad when I have to sleep at night.
    Not really.

One of my most proudest expressions came up in class during high school.
I happened to walk in a little bit late (I felt like sleeping in) when the teacher greeted me with "good morning, (sarcastically nice of you to join us."

Now having heard those words too many times on TV to have tolerated them, I was compelled to say something.
What came out was, "It's not good until it's at least 12 o' clock, and by then, it's not morning anymore, so don't lie to me like that."

I really have to say, at 7 in the morning, being able to even make words was something of a chore, so this was kind of a proud moment for me.
I wasn't really given much flak for coming in late after that.

I guess that ought to answer your question.

The person who invented mornings should be shot.

    Night owl, definitely.

I actually get a lot of stuff done in the morning if I get sleep.

BUT I really don't want to sleep at night! I love staying up really late. It's way too much fun.

A bit more of an early bird, if I had to choose. I'm more energetic in the morning, become quite sleepy past 24 if I've done a lot during the day (and I usually have).

To be honest I function well in both cases.

    Night owl.
Although I wish I was more of both.
I'm so inefficient in the morning.
    And grumpy.
I dislike being grumpy and inefficient.

Extreme night owl. I get my best work done around 9pm-3am and if I have to get up before 10am (which I often do, ugh) I'm just an incoherent, bumbling mess for a few hours.

I began a similar thread ages ago which posited and tenuously confirmed (based on a statistically-insignificant sample of internet dwellers) that Js are more likely to be morning people than Ps.

    For the record, I'm a night-owl.
