Would you feel more or less esteemed based on the extent to which the issue I mentioned before exists or does not exist?

Do you think the best (only realistic?) way to completely rid ourselves of racism is to mix with one another?

ETA: apologies if some of this was answered in your post above, i wrote it before i saw it...

    ok, read it now...

    1. No.
    Interesting.

    Why not?

And how do you think they ought to respond?

Also, do you think some such analog exists with white dudes dating black women?

We can joke about it, but we tend to focus on who a person really is and if they are "cool" After we get past that stage of whether someone is "triflin'" or not, we bond or we go opposite ways.

    3. I can understand the content of all songs, especially rap, because I'm fond of word play, with, story telling, and I have this uncanny knack for inferring and listening. I think my childhood and the rough patches only enhanced my survival skills, making my a real human 2.0. Cuz otherwise, this ship would have sunk.
You avoid the one question I'd care about.
    Are mixed people black?

The black woman/white dude dynamic does exist for any racist looking from the inside out. I've seen it and its easily inferred. However, if their goal is advancement, then they should respond with a fondness for mutual-intimacy, lest the love they hate alludes them altogether. And I think that if and when anything annoys you and it occurs frequently, it enrages you, but then the daunting frequency eats at your resolve, and you come to give up.

They tend to take on blackness, yes. The more mixed, the more black they look, no matter what the skin color. Blackness has to do with the depth of roots and heritage. Not every african-american person is black. You have to be born into it to be it; it cannot be replicated through BET or how-to adds.

To answer how is it that the people and their "quality" are as I suspected before this thread conjured the group to the congregational fire?

I've been here for years. Interacting with in various modes, mostly behind-the-scenes (cuz I've the eyes of a dirty old man), and what I've seen is nothing new. The who changes, but the what is all in all the same.

From the above can it be concluded that white people can be black?
That there exists white people as black or even blacker than you?

    But, if so..

If you have to be born into it, and even not then might you be black, then are there some who are born "outside" culture and roots, or is everyone born inside a certain culture?

Just not your culture and roots?

If so, why do people insist on calling themselves black?

    Sounds elitist...

I guess, the question is, what is black? A skin color? A culture? An attitude? A behaviour?

Yes. The skin color really doesn't matter as much as we have come to believe. Its a culture thing, for the most part. We as humans after all, are identical in DNA 95%. Uncanny. Shades of Black, as it were, alludes to this principle: that its the depth of heritage, not the appearance per se. Its a part of it, appearance or the biology, but only because it manifests the heritage.
