One hand, the right hand a lot. I use the other hand to move to music on the way to work a lot, to practice timing. I also use it to eat, change music and scratch.

Both hands, 9 and 3. Airbags deploy at around 500 MPH, so you really don't want any body parts (or objects for that matter) in the path of the airbag.

When I'm driving the car which is not an automatic, I drive one-handed most of the time. I don't know if I use both hands when driving the van, which is an automatic. I'd have to drive for awhile while thinking about what feels natural to figure it out.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Both hands, 10 and 2, except when there is a low speed limit on a straightaway, at which point I tend to use one hand or my knees.

One hand is usually on my coffee I think.

One hand...er, wrist. Left one. I drive with my knee, too.

I can't wait to get a car again.

One hand, top of the wheel. I feel like an old lady if I use both hands. It also makes me tense and strained on long drives.

It's a steering wheel. It isn't going to escape. It's not a bull. We have power steering nowdays anyway.

It varies for me. I drive a manual. Driving through town, and at a more aggressive posture: usually one hand on the top of the steering wheel. Cruising on the highway or with low traffic/minimal turns: usually one hand on the bottom.

If I have a boner, sometimes I use it... hands free.
