Angela from My So Called Life
Levin in Anna Karenina (probably the closest to my internal thought process)
Fanny in Manchester Park (but feistier/less sweet)
Celine in Before Sunrise/Sunset (except that I'm much more introverted)
The Kristin Scott Thomas character in the English Patient
That seems like enough.
"Charlotte sometimes dreams a wall around herself. But it's always with love - So much love it looks like everything else. Charlotte Sometimes - So far away, glass sealed and pretty." - The Cure
Obviously we don't come across the same in our daily lives, because of how much his situation has shaped his attitude towards dealing with strangers, i.e. his acquired need to be suspicious of everyone at all times. But they way he acts around people he cares about -- the way he's always offering to help Reese, always trying to be nurturing in an Fi sort of way to the victims he comes across. The way he tried to protect Reese from getting involved in the spousal abuse case, because of his personal history -- not because his bias would make the job problematic, but because he knew it would hurt him to be reminded of it.
(On a less positive note, I relate to how he tries and fails to maintain a superior position to Reese. He'll try to be mysterious and keep his private life private, he'll try to be Reese's instructor and boss, but then his desire to be helpful/kind gets in the way. That's why I'm thinking 1w2, but it's possible that 5w6/6w5 has this problem, or that I'm just projecting.)
Plus, the reasons for him having built the machine, and his attitude towards humanity:

The more I watch the show, the more I relate to him, and the more I admire him, his intelligence, and the way he sticks to his principles. I would love to be more like him when I get older.

Reason: word misuse -- how embarrassing!
