Default I Am Most Myself When...

You know when you see something, hear something, instinctively gravitate toward a sound, a person, a scent... what makes you feel most like yourself? No adaptation, no conscious thought, no moment to think... it just grabs you at your core. Tell me these things about you, both good and bad.

When I am alone... the adaptation/conscious thought always happens when I hang around others too long.

I'm with you, Glycerine. The more alone I am, the more myself I feel. The more I'm able to engage my Ni, the more centered I feel around my thoughts and senses. I assumed this was because I was 4w3.

i feel i killed my ego long ago

music can bring reminiscent feelings of videogames long past

i suppose being able to sink into myself makes me most self aware

    becoming angry.

being given a platform to ramble.

actually this is getting a lot easier. maybe i'll post more later.

I'm the opposite @Domino and @Glycerine, I feel most myself or maybe most alive when Im with others. Morespecifically when Im with "the special people" in my life. I guess it's not an extravert thing. I feel most myself when I feel most alive and that is doing things that activate me on a higher level and that includes being with certain people. Of course i need my alone time to reset but i very much feel like Im "resting" or getting ready for something. When I'm alone too long thoughts eat themselves and I lose sense of perspective so I don't really feel like myself, I just become an ocean of Ne and I don't have a sense of where I begin and end.

I guess I feel we are only ourselves in relation to other people. It sounds intellectualized but I think I operate like that on a gut level.

As far as a gut check list, I think my Fi is preventing me from spilling the beans so easily so let me get back to you...

I am always myself. Wisdom comes in accepting that but, not letting it define you
For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

More specifically she was asking when you feel most yourself. Does that change your answer?

When I am alone after a long day of moving and doing a myriad of different activities that are grouped around helping people from point A to point B, psychologically and emotionally.

When I'm doing physical things that allow for my strength and grace

    When flirting

When performing in a dark room of dedicated and involved listeners.
