Please do. (Or even Iron Maiden would be funnier.)

“Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

That's a good point, probably one which applies to me in many ways.

Afterall it's easy to teach from a cloak of mystery..as school teachers do most of their lives. But to truely teach another is to open up what you are, flaws and all, present it to them and THEN teach them.

You then become a teacher that is taught and the openess brings about great delights in revelation for all involved.
'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.

Of course the little boy in me is still throwing clods and hiding the delight he takes in you - except I have discovered that most here throw clods in the form of insults to hide their delight.

So the most important unwritten rule is to hide your delight, especially from yourself.
Some of your posts just really strike me in a good way, this is definitely one of them.

So I strike you in a good way sometimes, and I strike you in a bad way othertimes, so you will know the difference.

And as we perceive by making distinctions, if I only struck you in a good way, you would be blind.
