I shower daily, but I don't use soap or shampoo. I just scrub lightly, and my scalp vigorously. It started out because I was broke-ass-poor for a while and decided to optimize my budget for food, then turned out that all that shtuff is useless. It's a scam, people!
I don't relate to the spending my whole life in the shower. I'm very get clean get out brush teeth comb hair get dressed. what I do relate to is procrastination of taking one, and then i take one and i'm like why did i procrastinate?
The time i spend in the shower can vary enormously. Sometimes I might spend little more than a minute, just giving my armpits and nether regions a quick soap. It takes me five minutes to shave.
The only time I spend a long time in the shower is when I'm washing my hair (every three days). This is because I have wavy hair so need to condition it as well, and I leave the conditioner in for about 20 minutes. But yeah, usually not that long.
i love long showers, and i use super hot water too. like to the point where if i've showered with someone they're pretty much burning alive and i'm completely comfortable. but i end up getting dizzy from the steam after less than 10 minutes and either need to sit down or get out of the shower.
same with baths, they're a great idea in theory but i either get dizzy or bored.
You hem me in -- behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
