Same here, exactly. It was a great moment. I don't follow tennis that closely, but I was aware of Murray's history at majors and his crushing loss at Wimbledon last month to Federer. The backstory made it that much better. One of the best Olympic moments of any year.

What happened with China to warrant all the WTFs and such? I was out of town this weekend and had to let go my death grip of the Olympics.

Since @MacGuffin can't use this as his avatar, I figure I should post this here since it is both relevant and has rainbow unicorn blood.

I was watching GBR vs. Australia men's field hockey today; and it reminded me of watching the Women's Beach Volley Ball (although Women's Beach Volley Ball was cooler) when it Australia played USA; and that, when ever someone scored, 'This happened during that GBR Vs. France Women's Basketball Game I saw when GBR got knocked out too' - when ever someone scored in this field hockey game, they would play great music like Blur. It's stuff like that that has me liking these Olympics because I like the music we're playing; plus the Olympics are in town and everything, love London, so; these Olympics are pretty cool anyway, but the music at these events are just an added bonus/perk to the games being in London, I think... Love it.

I guess Olympic Records must mean the current games huh; Usain Bolt ran 9:53 I think and broke the World Record at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

I think he's broken the World Record again since then. This OR was 9.63, bettering the one in Bejing, which was 9.69.

Did anyone see the end of the Women's Triathalon the other day? It was an incredible sprint to the finish over the last few hundred metres, resulting in a dead heat. It's crazy how people can race such long distances and it comes down to millimetres.

The reason I mention it, is because I saw the picture of the official photo finish today.

Jump-off between GB and the Netherlands for team gold in the showjumping! I can barely watch!
