    Wait a minute....
'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

Suppose a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?"
"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.
    Piglet was comforted by this.

    Mr Henry's!!

My friends and I don't really do bars. The only bars where I've spent significant time in DC or anywhere are more dance and performance spaces like Black Cat. Also the Phase the local dyke bar. My friends like Banana Cafe not really a bar though. Or Fab Lounge, another ladies establishment. Or Freddie's in Crystal City for karaoke. Or McOrmick and Shmicks in Chinatown for happy hour, haha! When I lived in Dupont would hit all those terrible disgusting forgettable bars on 18th street that blur together because I was in stumbling distance and was friends with roommates.

Okay wait no, Gordon Biesrch in "Penn Quarter" Chinatown! That's the 1 bonafide non gay bar I frequented. Because its just cool to drink and eat inside a converted old bank. It's more a brewery than a bar though...

I don't think I ever made it to Pour House when I was in DC. I bought the hawk and dove was where all the interns hung out? :P

Ps I would've posted pics but I'm on iPad.

Hawk and Dove was lame unless you like to hit on 19 year olds.

The Pour house was a Gator bar in addition to being a steelers bar.

One of the bar tenders was the husband of the LD (legislative director) in Congressman Crenshaw's office where I worked.

There were a few other places I liked in DC but the pour house ended up being my favorite neighborhood dive.

Depends on the ISFJ doing the joking.
