Default How many times have you hit another human?

    Just curious..

Personally, probably more than 10 times.

    Random school yard fights.

    My mom.

    My sister.

    My other sister.

    My brother.

Multiple times, in some of those cases.

    I'm not evil, I swear...(lol, oxymoronic in a sense).

I remember once me and my brother (or rather my brother and I) were playing basketball. This guy is like 6'4 and bulky..but I kept on backing him up in the post. It annoyed me. Take me out once, show me I couldn't do it without physically hurting. Told him he was soft. He kept on playing soft. Eventually, I threw the ball in his face and told him to get off the court until he was ready to play properly. He just sat there...game ended. Last time I ever played one on one with him. I miss it.

Years later we got into an argument again, and it nearly came to blows. This time, though, he looked me in the eyes and more or less told me to get out his face. He'd have swung too, he finally stood up to me. I guess I was proud.

    Took him long enough, though.

    So, yeah, just curious.

And like I said, I'm not evil..

Biggest regret has to be hitting my mom.

Also, a confessional thread, I guess.

Sorry mommy..and yes, I still call my mom mommy.

I have. I don't like to talk about it.
For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

If you can actually keep count, then you probably haven't hit them enough to be concerned.

Quite a lot in my youth. Weirdly since ive got older I havn't come to blows before, but it's been close sometimes.

There was this one lad on a course, vile person, just got right on my nerves. But I towed the 'im a nice bloke really' line for as long as it would go, until I had to sit at the same table and group as him and listen to his disgusting opinions. I have never before felt such an intense internalised anger, (until my recent ex-job that is).

So while listening to him and deliberately looking right at him with a polite smile, I found myself idly playing with the head of the one of the scissors that was in the pot on the table and he just looked at my expression and then to the scissors and slowly stalled into silence. I just smiled at him again and said "Why are you stopping? Clearly your story is of great interest to me and everyone else....keep going" but he declined.

ps: Im not a psycho honest.

There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.

One, I think. With a bag. Then it broke and I had to pick everything up, so I never did it again. =|

Out of anger-- only a couple of fights.
    Out of sport-- lots.

Oddly enough, as I get older my confidence is rising and I think I would be less likely to back down from a fight compared to my younger days. Probably just haven't got my ass beat hard enough yet, lol.
