Harm none, do as ye will

Black and white are but two shades in a box filled with greys

Context is everything, understanding is warranted before judgement, and fair action

Expect nothing, investigate everything and adjust accordingly

Every living being is entitled to food, water, air, shelter, the right living temperature and the absence of suffering in general, regardless of their crimes or species.

Free will and freedom should only be taken away if not doing so will endanger others or cause severe suffering to others and should ideally be temporary with intent to solve the problem while retaining ones freedom, if at all possible.

"Do what you want if you can!"

The best I can do to be happy is obey most of what my will demands of me, but since I am likely to live beyond the moments of such fulfillment, I also take into account their possible consequences and the latter's potential to hinder my future happiness when considering actions.

In the trolley problem situation, I leave.

I have trouble thinking about my morality, in a nutshell. But don't seem to have any problem thinking about my morality in a nutshell. In a nutshell, with others, you could have your space, I could have mine.

Yes. And I like chocolate chip cookies WITH nuts.
I like to rock n' roll all night and *part* of every day. I usually have errands... I can only rock from like 1-3.

Judeo-Christian, the ten commandments and all the good stuff.

The golden rule and the golden mean. Erich Fromm suggested that the gold rule, love others as you love thyself, had sound psychological underpinnings involving psychological needs for relatedness and avoiding neuroticism.

Also I think you can find the socialist commandments online some place from the summer or sunday school in england which made them up, although they're a curio really, see above for the real thing.

Way back when I did marriage counciling with a Christian based councilor (was a terrible idea, surprise), I spent most of the session disagreeing with him calling me a moral relativist. Maybe I shouldn't have since I'm not even sure what the term means, now that I think of it.

I treat everybody as I wish to be treated and I am not a masochist(probably), and I expect not everybody would like this.
If nobody were watching, I wouldn't steal. If I knew the other person wouldn't miss it and I needed it, I would steal.
I think taking rash action is often selfish and more harmful than taking no action. I've learned this from experience.
I like the idea of not doing things that hurt people slightly more than doing things to help people. I think a flood should be damned at its source.
I would only dream to hinder another's free agency to the level that their's would affect mine.
