    Not necessarily--but there won't be a 3rd post.

No, never been into the "favourite number" thing. I don't even have a favourite word, and I'm much more fond of words!

I do like the number 17 though, outside of the quackery.
    Whoops.

I meant, to elaborate on your cliff hanger statement of 'it's a full blown philosophy'
Cliff hangers require sequels, you know.

Oh...I thought you were joking to get me to post 2 times, to make a point about the number 2.

Well, 2 is the smallest number that not only recognizes that something exists (such as 1), but also counts individual things that all exist. It's the first number that "counts." The idea of 2 is needed to conceive of numbers, so it is not just my favorite number, it is the best number.

Okay, so it's not the smallest. It's not the first number that counts. The idea of "2" is not needed to conceive of numbers -_-

It's always been 5. I suspect it started when I was very small and loved the show Speed Racer, whose car was #5. I always picked it as my number when I played sports.

I associate numbers with colors so any numbers that correspond to colors that I like are my favorites. I have always liked 7's because they remind me of purple and silver at the same time.

I have a penchant for having 2's, 4's and 8's together as they are lovely. Double numbers always look nice, as well as palindrome numbers.
