Are those space pants you're wearing? Cause baby you are out of this world!

Then of course there is pick up line Panda:

For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

Holy moly ...you're a Hottie! Can a man get a conversation?
Just got this on Plenty of Fish.

The guy is 38. That's all the e-mail said. Said nothing about my profile. This was his opening (and only) gambit.

Didn't his mama ever teach him how to actually converse with a woman?

Hint: If you feel the need to tell me I'm hot, do it in a self-deprecating or joking way (e.g., "I guess I don't need to tell you how hawt you are, since you're probably sick of hearing it... unless of course you write back and request me to do so, whereupon I am a true gentleman and will do my best to appease you") and then actually toss in SOMETHING of substance?

(if all you say is that I'm hot, then all I think you want from me is sex... which means you'll get a "fuck you" response... and that's the closest to screwing me you'll come.)

And here's an "I just want to be a smartass" e-mail:

Note: My subject line for my profile is "Something Different"

    Different...
    Looking for Similar.

Yeah, Al. Well, thanks for wasting thirty seconds of each of our lives to write. At least I got another entry in this thread because of you, so cool!

Men: Can't live with 'em, can't train 'em either.

Anyway, sure, I'd go on a date with you. Next time you're in the United States, let me know.

Chana's note reminded me of one I got on my car windshield! It said something about wanting to take me out to dinner and that he could fix stuff! Haha wtf!

It's not me, I'm trying to sneak into your bedroom window right now. I'm pretty sure I've not made a sound yet.
