    Default Father's day

is on sunday, what's your plans?

mine is i'm going to cook my dad a meal of pork roast with carmalized apples, stuffing, maple roasted winter vegetables, scalloped potatoes, and a walnut cake for dessert. I don't have money to get him a present and he's impossible to shop for anyways.
    In no likes experiment.

    that is all

i dunno what else to say so

Probably working, as usual. All I'll do is a brief phone call.
Apt tribute to an always working dad.

My inbox is open for you always. The first year is truly the hardest... just don't watch TV. I can tell you from my personal experience that #2 is vastly easier.

    you.

I am cooking dinner for my dad. I am making my own recipe hamburgers... I love Capresse Salad.... So I put sundried tomato pesto in with the meat and mix it up. For the cheese, I get fresh mozerrella; for the lettuce, I get fresh basil leaves; and for the tomato, I get roasted tomatoes. For the sauce I make my own aoili... this year I am going to try lemon to add some whimsy.

Dad's been gone for a very long time, so I plan on doing nothing, at least with reference to that holiday.

I'm gonna drink myself under the table. It's just like riding a bike.

    Nothing.

We've never really celebrated such days in our family. We barely even celebrate birthdays, I don't celebrate mine at all.

I’m taking the familly out to dinner. Two other family members have birthdays next week too, so I’ll host them all at a nice restaurant and cover them all that way.

BTW, here is a link to the “16 All-Time Funniest Dad Texts,” kind of a Father’s Day tribute at Damn You Autocorrect. Funny stuff: http://www.damnyouautocorrect.com/22...est-dad-texts/
