I'm surprised PETA and a legion of cat lovers haven't raised a ruckus about how cruel and unusual this is. The look on the cats face makes me want to laugh hysterically then I realize it's not photoshop. Also - wtf?!?

The guy's cat was run over by a car, so I wouldn't call it cruel. The cat won't know the difference. Not sure what to think of this but it seems to come down to what your relationship is towards a) death and b) animals.

The Dutch artist who made this claims it's an act of love for his cat.

I think it comes down to intent and motivation. "oh shit! Dead pet! What completely unnecessary and twisted thing can we do to it today for our personal amusement to satiate fleeting boredom?!" is sick

"Fluffy was cruelly taken Away from me too early and had his life cut short. He always wanted to fly and now I can be with him in a way that was not possible in life and that he would have wanted" that's pretty sweet

I still think the look on the cats face is hilarious. I can't imagine the cat died with that face.

Well, I can't tell my kitty that if I hope to use the information to coerce him into shaping up and fly right.

... or maybe I can. Maybe that makes it even more terrible. Mua ha ha.

There must be something wrong with me that I don't have a problem with this... then again if it was a puppy, sloth or pony, I would have issues with it. Hmmm, quite a bias I have.

This is awesome. I wonder if I could put this into my will.
For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.
