How do you get to travel so much?
For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

    ordered takeout for lunch.
deep fried bavarian style pork knuckle and an omelette.
every normal man must be tempted, at times,
to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag,
    and begin slitting throats.

Fortunately for me, Mt. Evan's has the highest paved road in North America! It's over 14,000 feet up! We had to drive so slow on the edge of some pretty scary precipices, though. Looong way.. It would be quite the hike!
