    Default Mantyhose

    http://theweek.com/article/index/225...to-wear-tights

I came across the above article this morning and was wondering if the idea of men wearing mantyhose is likely to take off.

So guys are you adverse to the idea of wearing tights?

Whatever will they think of next!!!

I asked my ENFJ if he would wear them. His reply -

I like to rock n' roll all night and *part* of every day. I usually have errands... I can only rock from like 1-3.

The article mostly describes their use as "long underwear under clothes," although some might wear them with shorts.

Perhaps there are a few markets (like NYC or LA) with so much extreme diversity that it'll wedge itself there, but I think they're underestimating US homophobia + male practicality. Most guys I know just don't see the need to express themselves this way nor do the tights serve a unique functional purpose. Women fashion is different and there's a place for it.

They'd only work if they made them in a denim pattern, cut them off at the ankle, and called them anorexic jeans.

They will fill the world with beauty.

"they come in a range of more masculine patterns, like skulls, checks, stars, and horizontal stripes (as well as various plain colors)."

Another thing we could do is tape sides of beef to our legs.

I read this in the comments of a similar article yesterday: "the cowboys stock up on L'eggs Queen size for those days they will actually ride horses instead of drive pick ups. I was told by 2 dif guys that hose prevent chafing and "saddle rash'." (Cowboys in pantyhose. LOL.)

My first thought after hearing about ‘mantyhose’ was: can foot binding be far behind?

Maybe these would catch on if men wanted to dress all manly like Mercurtio or Tybalt.
