Easier to just eat a hunk of meat than balance numerous vegetable sources to achieve the same end

If you eat a balanced, omnivorous diet, you don't really have to worry about malnourishment

A meat-heavy or plant-heavy diet is much more likely to result in a nutrient deficit

This is why I am omnivorous

That, and the fact that my species is omnivorous

No offense to our magnificent poster. & I'm also sorry for stealing humor from internet memes.

Vitamins. But did you listen to the entire video? The dietician recommended vitamins only as an option. Otherwise you have to eat a wide variety of fruits, nuts and berries in order to get complete protein.

I didn't say anything about which was easier and which was harder. I was merely pointing out that the claim that raising kids vegetarian is going to leave them with nutritional deficiencies is a myth.

If parents choose to raise their kids using the second option, more power to them. Their kids will grow up healthy and also get a ton more fibre that way.

The irony is, without meat (concentrated source of energy) we could never have grown brains with the capacity to ask this question.

But the question is why do we still do it. That we used to do it is contained in it.

It's not a real question. The original impetus still exists.

You are never going to persuade the entire human race to be humane.
