I usually laugh and make a comment if it's something silly like falling or some other wonky funniest home videos type moment.
I'm a major fall risk in general so I've just learned to go with the flow.
Edit: I'm not easily embarrassed unless something I've done reveals a lack of competence or some kind of a major character flaw.

I find embarrassing moments to be times when life is reminding me to be humble.. I take it as a blessing, although not all blessings are soft angel kisses on your cheek.
So I pull a Shorty and laugh at myself, and make a joke of myself about it.
If it's something that shows off what a ditz I can be, or reveals something I don't want out in the open.. I usually panic, blush, and try to retreat the nearest stage exit. Music usually soothes me in the privacy of my own room after that.
Times of disrespect are somewhat difficult for me.. if someone is embarrassing me on purpose, trying to call me out or something of that nature.. I sort of just take it situation by situation. Either I'll pull them off to the side and try to sort it out, or I'll call them out right back. I try not to react emotionally at all during those times, but words sting me easily.
Kantgirl: Just say "I'm feminine and I'll punch anyone who says otherwise!"
Halla74: Think your way through the world. Feel your way through life.
Cimarron: maybe Prpl will be your girl-bud
prplchknz: i don't like it
I remain impassive.
Usually people need some kind of feedback to validade their laughing.
But if you remain serious what usually happens is:
A man builds. A parasite asks 'Where is my share?'
A man creates. A parasite says, 'What will the neighbors think?'
A man invents. A parasite says, 'Watch out, or you might tread on the toes of God... '
This was a rather epic one though... I can't remember the last time I've had a skinned knee! I am usually the same way... I laugh it off, get up and keep right on going! It's actually a big joke with my friends about how clumsy I am. I usually don't get a "Oh my God, are you Ok?" when I fall... just laughs
try to laugh it off, I used to get easily embarrassed but you have to realize that most people don't care that much and even if they notice they'll forget about it pretty fast.
I think my worst moment was in 7th grade gym class getting hit in the nose with a basketball and getting a really bad bloody nose all over my shirt. people were like 'are you that girl that got hit in the face??' I was mortified.
