Default Live from the middle east...

So, this place is really interesting. I keep taking shots of this unroasted (green) coffee and arabic sweet tea.

People are constantly waiting on us, and it's pretty strange. There are no trash cans, you just leave stuff about and they pick up after you. Bloody weird.

Where particularly in the middle east are you?

The Kuwaities here have a wired sense of style. They try so hard to look American. They end up looking like rockabilly frat boys.

    Yeah, yeah.

The people are really cool here, btw. Nice, and all they know about Americans comes from the media, so they are always amazed to meet us and really surprised.

Yesterday morning my waiter, who knew I was a westerner of some kind, asked me where I was from. I told him to guess...
    "British?"
    "no"
    "Australia or New Zealand?"
    "no"
...he thinks for a while, dumbfounded.
    "Canadian?"
    "no"
...worse than before, he shakes his head...
    "Some kind of Northern European...Germanic?"
    "nope"
    ...
    "I don't know."
    "I'm from the United States."

He was amazed and had never met one of us before. He was really curious about us but have remarkably little information, most of which is from the media and skewed against us and our culture.

Actually I have an entire notebook devoted to pinpointing the exact locations of every MBTI member down to 10 digit grid points (Because it's that important to me). You were just on page 32. My bad.

Still egotistically arrogant I see. Not everyone reads our threads you know. In fact I didn't know you were in the middle east until just this morning.

Good to see you can log in MBTIc while in Saudi Arabia.

Not the perfect wife again . What if I told you I was quoting them both, as Home Alone in fact also has a clip from the original (Kind of). Both awesome movies.
