Default What would happen if we all stopped doing things?

Besides the instinctual stuff like feeding and heat. There are obvious implications- but would it be better or worse? What is the benefit of evolving beyond the basics? Is there a purpose for all the extras?

(feels Office Spacey with this thread: "yeah, I just stopped going to work.")

It would be horrible. Our self esteem is derived from what we are and what we do besides the basics. To use Enneagrams as orientation, 3s need to achieve stuff, 5s need to keep learning, 2s wanna love and feel loved...etc. Lower self esteem levels = higher suicide rates, lower quality of life.

Lots of death and suffering. Living in the "wild" or amongst "nature" isn't fun. It's cold, it's deadly, full of disease and predators and famine and drought. There's a reason we built cities.

Did the enneagram come before everything? If so, why?

(heh. particularly evil question for someone like yourself, but I think you can handle it.)

Nah. Humankind had to evolve a lot in order to Enneagrams 5 arise.
Btw you didn't say we'd go back to the beginning!

I think my life would be exactly the same for the most part lol

In all seriousness though, we'd really be nothing more than animals.

I imagine it would be much like living with my ex-husband.
I like to rock n' roll all night and *part* of every day. I usually have errands... I can only rock from like 1-3.
