Default What did "Santa" give you for christmas?

    Ho ho ho

For those that celebrate, and for those that don't but have giving friends that do,

What did Santa get you for Christmas, and what did you get others too?

well I only opened one present today, but I had a pretty good present year. it was all stuff I needed pretty bad though. I got an iphone, a laptop, a pair of boots, and some new makeup and skin care. and cash money from the grandparents, which is being used for rent. I have no money so I didn't really get anyone anything. lol that makes me look bad. I sent my boyfriend a picture of my boobs, does that count?

    They definitely do rock!

I got myself a Kindle Touch. My daughter drew me a picture of a goth girl for my cube at work.

I got my daughter earrings, a hair pin set, and a silk scarf; my one son some wood carvings of dragons; my other son an artsy watch + handmade crafts rock-out figure; and my ex a silk scarf and body lotion.

Got a necklace, lots of tea, dropkick murphys tickets, a new bag, new kitchen ware, visa gift cards, travel mugs, dishes, clothes and underwear (of course given publicly! )

I gave the planet earth series on dvd to my parents, star trek conquest, two different god of war games and a new I pad case for the man and a self heating travel mug with tea and coffee and a new lunch bag with cold packs for my sis because she needs them but can't afford them (and a book and a much longed for hug of approval to my long suffering and very loyal first in command at work... notable because I dont do hugs! )

Not what I wanted the most, but it was expected...nothing more then a dream(expecting the person to give it to me). I got the second best thing, spent Christmas eve eve and Christmas eve with my son. No pressure for anything except him bugging me to open presents. Other then that got a video game, a few gift cards, some tamales, and several boxes of all different kinds of steak.
    Im out, its been fun

    That's pretty cool, at least.

I got a couple long sleeved shirts, an electric razor, cologne, the movie Beetlejuice, gloves, lots o candy, and the new Legend of Zelda game (although this was a dual gift for my sister and I from our brother).

Thise is what I got my family:

    Mom: a candle
Dad: the movie V for Vendetta
Sis: a scarf (that resembles the Harry Potter Huffle Puff scarf)
Bro: a bag of hershey kisses

And what's great, all my presents were from Target

    received
    - CDs with a lecture series called Big Bang on (human) evolution and neurology and some marzipan chocolate from my mum
    - a purse light and some more chocolate from my little sister
    - a necklace from his last trip to Namibia from my little brother
    - a nice dress, my first diamond ring ever (very small, simple and affordable but still!) and a beautiful book with 18th century drawings of tropical fish from myself
    - the latest novel of one of my favorite authors, a multifunctional pen and above all a tailor made ex libris stamp from the bf with exactly the image on it that I had envisioned years ago and once mentioned in passing last summer - the rhinoceros by Dürer! (It's gonna take a while to mark all >1500 books with it!) ... that and the ring were the greatest gifts!!!

    given
    - a swedish army firesteel set for my outdoor-ish brother to make fire with on his trips
    - a book by Stephen Fry on classical music for the sister that just got into that
    - the latest Oliver Sacks (a collection of weird neurological case histories) and a CD with Romanian music for my mum
    - a trilobite and a praline set for my dad and his current wife
    - a very obscure book, his first graphic novel (meant as a first fix to get him hooked, it's a comic book biography of Nietzsche) and a designer pen he has been longing for for years for the calligraphy-loving nerdy bf

All together, loot-wise, a very good year!
The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge. Neither love without knowledge, nor knowledge without love can produce a good life. - Bertrand Russell
