Default Ever wished you could know what other people think of you?

Let's say some magical genie or something comes along and offers to give you an ability that would allow you to always know what other people think of you--the good and the bad. Would you accept this offer?

I might like to know overall but I'd rather not know during each specific instance.... that could get terribly distracting after a while.

Yes. More knowledge = more control. Would make my decisions easier.

I'd like to know what others think of me so I could stop worrying about it and expecting the worst. :P

I agree. I could probably use more constructive feedback, but only now and then.
I've been called a criminal, a terrorist, and a threat to the known universe. But everything you were told is a lie. The truth is, they've taken our freedom, our home, and our future. The time has come for all humanity to take a stand...

Absolutely, I've wished this. To the point of deciding it was best for my mental health to drop it. If given the option, I probably wouldn't want to anymore. Being able to know exactly what people think of me could lead to lots of manipulation temptation. You know what they say about power.

Could it be switched on and off? If so, I'd love it. Otherwise, forget about it. I don't think I could take it.
