Default What You Are Thankful For

In this thread you can write down your Thanksgiving Day wishes to everyone on the forum, as well as write down what you are the most thankful for this year.

I'd like to wish everyone on Typology Central a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that everyone has a warm holiday and spends it with people that are near and dear to them.

This year, I am the most thankful for the love and support from my family, significant other, and close friends. It means a lot to me to have them in my life.

    I'm thankful that/for:

All the work on my parents' house is paying off.
Knee is starting to feel better.
    Aunt is still doing ok.
Yummy food with some of my favorite people.
    For mittens and warm blankies.
    Sister living nearby now.

    Actually life is not bad.
Your kisses, sweeter than honey. But guess what, so is my money.

For not getting my face mangled by a chimp.

    And other assorted senseless tragedies.

    No, I'm not being facetious.

I would love some of that, if it was unattached to my family.

    Fair enough.

I might as well call it Christmas. I have a lot of good stuff to set me up for awhile. Turkey and fixings, along with barbeque ribs/potato salad, and even Vietnamese Pho.

I'm thankful the Europeans settlers who colonized what is now present-day America were able to overpower the Native Americans with foreign diseases and advanced weaponry.

Yeah! And they did such a good job of it, too.

I'm thankful that my European ancestors crossbred with the remaining non-diseased natives thus saving me from having to experience the burden of white guilt.

And also I'm thankful for what health I have left over, loved ones, having air to breathe and all that good stuff.
