    Smile The Price of Being

Not knowing what to do is a wonderful position to be in. It takes me quite a while to not know what to do. At first I feel a bit helpless, then I try to get back to knowing what to do, then I try to invent something to do, but finally I relax into not knowing what to do.

And of course not knowing what to do, the only alternative is being. So I relax into being and look around me and see what there is, and how I feel, and how I see others. Being is a new world, and requires the closest attention.

Being is the greatest gift and the only price is doing. So when we don't know what to do, we are simply paying the price of being.

What Victor is saying is that

    - In a free group (as opposed to a strictly organized group or the experiences of an individual) we often don't know what is going on. We can not see and understand everything that is happening in this large group, but thanks to gut feeling and instinct we can get an intuitive grasp of group dynamics and overall tendencies and developements.

    - This group is free. If you can not (completely) control it, all that is left to do is wait and see what happens. What happens when a group is left to be free is exactly what did/does happen with this group (for good or for bad)

    Glad I could help

And what a dear tranlator you are. I quite understand why your felines are so fond of you.

I overheard them talking the other day, and I heard one of them say, "She can translate everything, even Victor".

"Even Victor!", said the other, "that's amazing, no one else can understand him, she must have a special gift".

"Ah yes", said the first, "she does have a special gift, together with exquisite social skills".

"I hope Victor appreciates the value of his translator", said second.

"Well", said the first, "when I spoke to him the other day on the phone, I got the impression he is a little in awe of her".

"And so he should be", said the first, "so I wonder when he will ring again?".

"just" no. I do and thats the point. If I ever was to live in a world where people dont give me the piss no more, I'ld kill myself; cause thats the end of progress and self-reflection. There maybe nicer ways to help people self-reflect, but I am not a nice person.

We don't ban you because you are not insulting enough.

The secret to insult is to insult yourself first. Put yourself down. Demean yourself. Diminish yourself. Just say what's wrong with you. If you do all this, you won't be able to go wrong, and you will become quite insulting enough to ban. Would I lie to you?
