    Default What defines you?

What criteria do you use to define yourself? For example, if someone says "Who or what are you?" how do you answer? I always first consider myself a mechanic, but that's just a job.Or is it? Is that what I am,or just what I think I am? I have never really thought about it before, and now I may be over thinking it.

Useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

    End of line.

I have a certain inner softness, balanced by the steel blade of integration.

Who or what am I? I am an archipelago.

    An idea-chaser and a knowledge-seeker.

    Edit:
Criteria? I'm not sure. It's how I see myself, I suppose.

I don't think life can be defined. You are who you make yourself to be. If someone sees things differently, that is their perception. Be the person YOU want to be.
I'm never wrong, I'm just sometimes less right

Usually when people ask me "who are you?" I assume they mean my name and when they ask "what are you?" I assume they mean my profession (or species, whatever).

But, philosophically, I don't think any of those qualifiers wholly and truly encapsulates who I am, since I am the sum of my parts and each of my parts is a result of the sum of my whole.

    Ya dig?

So much could possibly define me, that if I had to tell another about myself in a short manner, I would apologize and decline from doing so; it would take as essay to define me.

The closest I could come to being defined is through the result of my actions in this moment. I am never the same person I was a second ago, nor have I become the person I will be in the future.

I discourage any understanding beyond that since I do not live in the past, and I cannot, with 100% accuracy, predict the future.

All I really have is an idea, and that, most people wouldn't agree upon, so, there is never a truth.
